DIY Pet Gift - Healthy and easy homemade dog bones treats (Recipe)

February was a national "Love your Pet" month and it happened to be Grizzy's half birthday. He just turned 6 month. What a better way to celebrate by making your dog delicious and healthy homemade dog treats that even a human can enjoy!
I wanted to share this recipe (below) that we created for Grizzy and I also made a step by step video. Let me know what you think.

INGREDIENTS: (Makes 12 large treats 3,5" each)
1/4 cup of creamy peanut butter
2 TBS honey
1 TSP Organic Coconut Oil
1/2 cup chicken or beef broth
1/2 oats
1 cup whole wheat flour or all-purpose flour. You can use gluten free flour if your dog is allergic to gluten. In our case we used gluten free flour.

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix all ingredients together

Place dough on flour dusted surface. Roll or press dough out to about 1/4" inch thick. Use a dog bone cookie cutter to cut out cookies. The size is up to you, depending on the size of your dog. The size we used is 3,5" We got our cutter on Amazon. They have lots of different size and shapes to choose from. Roll out leftover scraps and cut out as many as possible.

Put cut out cookies on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 14-16 minutes. Let cool and enjoy.

Store at room temp in an airtight container for about a week, or longer if you store in the refrigerator.
